Candyfloss...By Jacqueline Wilson :)

'Candyfloss', In my opinion I found quite a good book. It is about a girl called Flora, her mum and dad have split up and her mum is with a guy called Steve. Steve gets a promotion at his job but Steve, Floss and Tiger (Flosses little brother ) and mum have to go for six months to Australia but Floss cant bare to be parted from her Dad. Flora also has a best friend who is names Rhiannon, but during the story Flora does realise that she's not that true of a friend. Floss decides to stay with her dad in his broken down chip shop but the only problem is her dad is running out of money and fast. Whilst living with her dad, she thinks also about her mum and does really miss her, but she just hates Steve, she loves staying with her dad, but he's struggling so much! They then find themselves homeless, Could dad and Floss be destined for a life of sleeping rough? This a quite moving story at time and is a quite good example of family life. I feel that the story really does relate to reality and even modern day, this book would be good for girls who could be in this situation, you never know it could help! The storyline hooks onto you, making you feel sympathy for Flora and making you feel emotion for the all the characters :) You can almost see the story happing in your head....

I think this book has been written more for teenage girls, ranging between 12-15 :)

GIRL 16:FIVE START FIASCO...BY SUE LIMB :)

I found this book quite funny at times, Sue Limb (the author) make the audience feel like its them, it reflects on the most embarrassing moments of being a teenager. This book is part of a series and I think this book is the fifth one (the last) all throughout this series there is a girl names Jess Jordan. This is the first book I have read of this series, I had no problem picking up the basic information because it was such a clear book, which you could understand and presumed what happened last time, so I think I will buy the other books and read them. The authors characters I found were quite quirky, cheesy, fun and it was all very drama queen type. In this book there's and relationship, parental problems (her parents have split up) I think the author refereed to an 16 year olds life.

The book is basically about Jess's life, she has a boyfriend named Fred, a mum, a dad and also her nan who lives with her, Jess decides to organise a valentines dinner dance with her boyfriend for her school and their families she becomes all stressed about organising the thing and she also wants to become a comedian and so for the dance she writes an extract for the audience, all of the stress lead to relationship problems which made life harder for her, which is also all part of the story. She starts writing her own book with her dad named 'Lord of the Wrongs' all the emails are all in italic in the book, some of the extracts that were written I found quite funny, the way it was all set out in the book was really good, but then it stops near the end of the book which is quite upsetting on the other hand her mum is trying to find a decent boyfriend which is kind of annoying Jess, but then the weekend before Jess's best friend invited Jess and Fred to a mini holiday thing with her an her boyfriend so they could all be together, Jess gets even more stressed because its the weekend before and there have been problems with the dance (e.g. band cancelled, no food etc..) then it all ends up that her boyfriends leaves the holiday without her knowing. The story all continues more dramatically...then the dinner dance turns up...well if you want to know the rest you better get on reading the book yourselves :)

In my opinion I found this book really enjoyable to read, really interesting and after reading this book I know enjoy reading more, and to be honest I ended up reading the book whenever I could and the more I read the more I wanted to continue. There is a new series including two new characters named Chloe and Zoe, which I think will be just as good and I cant wait to read. I think most teenage girls aged 13-16 would enjoy reading this book!
